FIRE RISK ASSESSMENT CARRIED OUT IN ENGLAND & WALES

The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 should have come into force in
April of  2006. However, it was implemented by Parliament 7months later in October of 2006 and is referred to as the RRFSO 2005 (Fire Safety Order). Further Detailed Guidance? ALSO SEE FREE PDF FILE.

The 'Fire Safety Order' is designed to provide a minimum 'fire safety standard' within all
'non-domestic premises'. Including all parts of a premises used within a business 
undertaking or made available to employees as a place of work. 
Such as, offices or shops, houses in multiple occupation, common parts of blocks 
of flats & all other business premises types, whether it be for profit, or non-profit.

The RRFSO 2005 designates a person and/ or, persons to be nominated as the 'responsible person' (RP). This includes: The owner, the managers & other suitable responsible persons nominated to: Implement, Monitor & Maintain the Premises Fire Safety.
